Hyatt announced their plans to utilise VeriFLY for meetings and events
Hyatt has recently announced their plans to explore VeriFLY+ Stay for future in-person meetings so meeting attendees and staff could have a seamless option to share their Covid-19 test results in a secure and discreet way while ensuring a safe event environment. VerFLY+ Stay is a modified version of the VeriFLY mobile app, a mobile health passport that allows users to provide verification of Covid-19 credentials and travel guidelines.
Hyatt will be working closely with meeting planners to identify criteria for meeting attendees. These criteria, such as presenting a recent negative Covid test result and more, will be communicated to attendees through the VerFLY mobile app so they can fulfill their requirements and complete all necessary forms prior their arrival.

has decided to open its entries to both live and virtual events and add nine additional categories to celebrate the fantastic contributions that have driven the event marketing industry forward during unprecedented times.
The 2021 awards programme has also announced their judges recently. The jury panel, a diverse and global group comprising the world's leading industry professionals, will face a daunting task of selecting and recognising the best work from a host of outstanding entries.
Now in its fifth year, Event Marketing Awards honours businesses that have applied best practices to the creation, planning, production and management of successful events in Asia-Pacific.

The Hong Kong government has announced a 2-week postponement for the Hong Kong-Singapore Air Travel Bubble. The scheme allows travellers, who hold negative test results within 72 hours before travelling and have no other travel history except Hong Kong and Singapore within 14 days prior to their departure, to travel between the two places without any quarantines. Meliá Hotels International hotels in 100% compliance with anti-Covid standards and measures, certified by Bureau Veritas
Bureau Veritas has completed the certification of the Meliá Hotels International “Stay Safe with Meliá" programme of preventative measures to combat Covid-19 and has also confirmed a level of compliance of 100% in company hotels.
At the launch of the programme in May, Meliá announced it was working with Bureau Veritas to guarantee compliance with the most rigorous health and safety standards. Bureau Veritas certified the suitability of the programme, and after having completed an audit in a large sample of hotels, has now certified the correct adaptation of operating procedures to the current circumstances and the excellent and controlled application of them in hotel facilities to minimise the risks created by the Covid-19 pandemic.
