Months after the outbreak of COVID-19, the virus continues to spread into new regions. Over one hundred countries and territories, including Malaysia, Singapore, India and Philippines, barred entry in an attempt to constrain the pandemic spread. Venues in the restriction areas have announced new policies in response to their governments' coronavirus lockdown.
Marriott International Has Updated Meetings, Events & Conferences Reservation Information In Response To COVID-19
Marriott International is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organisation’s statements regarding COVID-19 cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.
In response to changing marketplace conditions, Marriott International is committed to ensuring customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.
For all Marriott International hotels world-wide, the following policies are implemented with respect to individual rooms booked into Group blocks (e.g., for meetings, events or conferences) for both cancelled and non-cancelled events:
For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date who booked rooms into a Group block via a direct Marriott channel (e.g., Marriott.com or directly with the hotel), including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, Marriott International will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival,* as long as the change or cancellation is made by June 30, 2020. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences. Guests can cancel or change existing reservations regardless of whether the event itself has been cancelled.
For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and June 30, 2020, Marriott International will allow the reservation to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date.* Please note that any changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
Guests who booked rooms into a Group block using a third-party channel (e.g., online travel agents, meeting planners or other third-party travel professionals) are advised to contact the relevant third party for information on the third party’s policies. If a third party cancels the event, it is the third party’s responsibility to cancel the individual reservations made on each guest’s behalf.

Radisson Hotels Has Extended Their Cancellation Policy on Groups and Meeting Reservations
Radisson Hotels has activated their corporate crisis response teams worldwide and has strong processes and support teams in place. The hotels have been informed in detail on essential preparatory and prevention measures – ranging from hygiene measures including increased cleaning and sanitising frequency to guidelines on how to handle suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 or lockdowns for quarantine purposes in cooperation with the local authorities.
Leisure Groups, Business Groups and Meeting & Events
Radisson Hotels is constantly updating their global cancellation policy to reflect the most recent developments related to COVID-19 and any official travel or meeting restrictions or, quarantine or lockdown measurements announced by governments worldwide.
Free cancellations on existing and new reservations and/or meetings & events until June 30, 2020, (in all countries and all RHG hotels worldwide) if the meeting/ event cannot be rebooked to a later date. Any modifications to any existing reservation are subject to availability and any rate difference.
If a deposit has been paid for an existing reservation, Radisson Hotels will credit their customer the full amount (less already incurred costs) for them to redeem on their next reservation, at the same property, until March 31, 2021.
Groups who made reservations via third-party meeting organisers are advised to contact them directly for any adjustments.
For arrivals/ meetings & events after June 30, 2020, Radisson Hotels' normal cancellation policy will be applied.
